Are there any work at home via internet jobs that aren’t scams?
Mar-20-2010 By admin
I have a really hectic life, and wish to make an income from home. Are there any non-scam jobs that I could work on via internet?
First you need to educate yourself on all that’s available that you would be interested in doing. There are more ways to earn online than there stars in the sky. Well, maybe not that many but it can be over whelming.
I started by signing up for all the newsletters, mini-courses and such that I could find. You will filter throught them till you find the ones that appeal to you.
Once you find something you are interested in, you have to make a decision that will call you to action. If you can’t do this, and you only wish and talk about wanting, then you will never have what you want.

Ther only real work at home is work you create like e-bay or organizatrions like it where you buy wisely and sell for more than you apid. If you don’t know what you are doing, I hope you have a big garage becaseu you will have lots of stuff and few sales. You need to get a book and study how to use e-bay successfully. Don’t fall for the courses on-line. You can learn as much in a $15 book.

It really depends on what you’re "expecting"/ YOUR definition of "work from home"… and your "skills"….
You can do freelance work (check out http://www.elance.com) or if you prefer traditional "pay/per hour" work there are a few companies (www.westathome.com) but pay in the "per hour" side of things is pretty close to minimum wage b/c the work is pretty basic…
There are LOTS of scams…pretty much anything you have to pay money to be able to do is a scam… but there are things like Avon/Mary Kay/Pamper chef etc that ARE legitimate…just not what most people are looking for to do… is all about what YOU want to do and what time you have to do it in…
Personally, I think about working from home as a business and not a "job"….in a business you invest your time/resources (whatever that might mean to you) and you get paid for it… I translate/ buy things to resell on ebay and I’m an independent agent for a few Insurance companies… so I "work from home" but I don’t have a job from home… I have a home business….there’s a HUGE difference.
Sometimes your investment works and sometimes it doesn’t…
Good luck!

I’m afraid the scam artists thrive in times of high unemployment, the fake news report style ad Google is suing 50 companies for producing are still going strung, you might have to just look at the sponsored search results at the top of these pages to see them.
My stock reply is, spend months or a year learning and building up an online business, do technical freelance contractor work, or write articles for web sites, which need fresh material to main their important search engine rankings.
Some freelance connection sites, for those with marketable skills include: elance.com, allfreelance.com, odesk.com, getafreelancer.com and project4hire.com

Some companies allow their employees to work at home (telecommunicate).
I know that Google does this.
You will have to do some searching however.
Most work at home places are scams unless they are a reliable business that trusts their employees to work diligently from home.
Did you know that those working from home work many more hours a week than those who go into the office (or work place) to work?
Doing paid surveys are likely scams.
You CAN bundle newspapers, stuff envelopes, make jewelry… but it won’t be worth your time and effort for the money you will be making.
If you have any skills, consider telecommunication..
Good Luck

I have known a few people to work from home. They are daycare providers, free lance writers (can be done online), graphic or web designers, sellers on eBay, medical transcriptionists, doggie sitters, online tour guides, telemarketers, I’ve known some people who make crafty things like baby headbands or stuff like that then they sell it at a consignment store, marketing… There are some opportunities out there. Demand Studios is a company that I have heard of that hires free lance writers. I also have done work with free lancers with elance. They have all sorts of talent there so depending on what skills you have, you can get work there. If you decide to go into daycare you will need to look at your states requirements. Medical transcription does require some training which can take you from 4 months to about a year to complete. I am not at all crafty so I can’t help you with resources there. Hope you find what you are looking for!
