The Work At Home Blog

The ultimate work at home guide for reviews, news and information

Iv been looking for true ligament work to do at home on the computer NO selling NO harassing people just good clean work at home from sending emails just filling out stuff for businesses and send them out if know of any please I would love to hear it

There are places that will allow you to work at home but you have to be careful and have tons of common sense when trying things out as there are also outright scams (the ones that charge money for you to "get a job") then there are others that don’t scam you as such but just don’t pay you so you waste your time.
You might want to re-thing the "selling" part as when dealing with websites, selling will not mean cold calling people as they did 30 years ago but it just means adding ads to your website, which when the user follows them you get paid a % of it.
It never is a lot of money, maybe $0.50 for helping Amazon sell something or another, the good part is that it is residual income, meaning once you set your site up and it gets found by the search engines it will happens automatically, you just periodically add content to your site.
The mistake most people make is that they thing in terms of offline work and they try to translate it into online work but it is completely different, hence many people just dismiss any online work as "scams" or "it doesn’t work"… this is just because they don’t understand it.
Reading and gaining some knowledge would go a long way towards getting clued up, obviously it takes time and effort just like all things.

  1. MoneyMonkey Said,

A while back I saw a news piece on CNN (Gerri Willis, Your Money) that had these links for work-at-home opportunities which are reputable and not scams. I made notes about it because I thought it was a great idea for a disabled person. Here are the websites:

    PHONE REPS
    alpineaccess.com
    liveops.com
    repsforrent.com

    PERSONAL ASSISTANTS
    fastcentrics.com
    ivaa.org

This is a question that is on Yahoo Answers about 20 time every single day. If there WERE true work at home jobs that were not scams don’t you think everyone would know about them? There are not any.

I disagree with others that say that there is no true work from home business. In fact the work from home options are endless. The most successful ones unfortunately do require you to communicate with the general public via telephone and sell products and or services.

The best advice i can give you is find a product you DO believe in whole heartily. If you believe in the product then you will not think of it as a scam. Just make sure you do your research and due diligence and are not pushing products to peoples detriment.

A good example of a work from home scenario is actually Finance Broking This is a service of which many people desperately need advice especially in todays market with so many people looking to refinance or fix there loan.

Yes there is some hard work involved getting to appropriate certificates etc. although if you believe in it and try your best i am certain you will shine. Research into getting a Certificate Four in finance and apply to non bank lenders and or smaller broking firms who are 99.9% SURE to hire you on a commission only basis if you can show your a good listener and hard worker.

I have listed some examples below who are not going to try and sell you franchise opportunities and are on the ball:

    Reduce Home Loans
    Mortgage Ezy
    Finance Ezi

There are basically two schools of thought on this topic…One that says "No such thing exists" and one that says "Try my program"…It almost makes me laugh.

Honestly, they’re both right. If you’ve been "programmed" all your life to think the only legitimate way to make money is to go out and get a college degree, get a job and work it for the rest of your life, or until you retire, then there is no other option for you. A few companies out there do offer to let you work from home doing data entry and so forth, but most of them only pay you a few dollars an hour and some even require such strict adherence to certain protocols that you don’t really get the "benefits" of working from home.

Now, on the other end of the spectrum…"Buy into mine!, no, buy into mine!"…There are some companies out there that offer a great compensation program for selling their products/services. If you bring people into the company to work "under" you, you can make more money.

Here’s the issue: Not enough of one and too much of the other…So how do you figure out which direction is right for you?

I know I’ve seen millionaires made going either direction you choose. I’ve almost always seen people in my business who make tons of money…And I’ve seen people who work a ton of overtime for their job and make big bucks too. The only difference is, which one is working smarter, not harder?

Here’s the way I look at it. You can trade hours for dollars or you can duplicate yourself and make money off of multiples of people working in your favor all over the world whether you are busting your butt or not.

If you work a job, let’s say you make $15 an hour. So you work 40 hours per week and you bust your butt to keep up with what’s required. Whether you perform or not, you know you’ve got a check for $600 coming to you at the end of that week, right? Nope, Uncle Sam will jump in before you even see your check and reduce that by about 25-30%. So, after 40 hours of work, you end up with $420…and you wash, rinse and repeat each week. Once you stop working, or cut back your hours, you’re done. Oh, and let’s not forget, if your bills don’t come in below your income, you’ll still have more month at the end of your money.

Now, let’s say you join one of those supposed "scams" out there that people keeping talking so harshly about. Let’s say you can earn ("EARN" being the major word) $12 each time you make a sale. If you make one sale, you make $12. It doesn’t matter if you worked one hour, two hours or seventeen hours for that one sale. You make $12 either way.

Now let’s say your average customer purchases 4 units each time they make a purchase…You make $12 per unit, or $48 off of that customer. Guess what though, once you’ve sold them the product once, they buy it again, and again, and again…So even if it took you two hours to make that sale, if they buy the same 4 units every week for the rest of your life, you’ve only spent 2 hours to get that sale and since you’re making $48 each time they buy, heck, in just one year that’s $2,496…For 2 hours work…And that’s only one customer.

On average, most people in my business average 2-3 new customers per week…with an average of 98% retention and 4 units purchased per week. If you did that, and only that, for one year, guess what? You could stop selling altogether and still make a passive income of $7,488 per WEEK!

    THAT’S $389,376 PER YEAR…and not even working!!!

But, see, I’ve caught myself on a monologue…what works for me may not work for you. However, I feel much better giving someone the opportunity to at least make an educated choice (although somewhat biased declaration from me) about their future. So I’m not going to put a link here on this page about "My opportunity" or any of that.

If you want to find something out about what I’m doing to make a full-time income on part-time hours, you know where to find me. And if you want to work from home but are afraid of "selling", I would suggest you find something that sells itself, so you don’t have to sell it.

Boy did I go on a tangent or what?…lol

    Good luck! God bless.

Well, there are many work from home jobs out there but, I have been with this company for awhile and I have been getting paid very well. The good thing about this is that you can try this for FREE!!! You have no obligation to join nothing, just check it out and if you do not earn anything, well just cancel and move on. Come on, it easy. Look, I got laid off 1.5 years ago and without this, I would have been in the streets by now. Thankfully I found this website and it is the best thing I have came across. NO OBLIGATION, I’m telling you, just try it. FREE to try and earn money. I am not saying that you will earn millions, but at least it pays the RENT or MORTGAGE. Look at the link below. Nothing to lose.

There are a lot of legitimate work at home jobs. First question to ask yourself is whether you are looking to start your own business of work for someone else. I have several businesses and a "real" job, For my real job I have computer techs that spend about half of their time working from home providing support to computer users. They work via internet and cell phones.
For my own businesses I hire people and companies that have work at home people. They mainly doing creative writing for me. They are actually hired to do work on a fee for service (not an hourly) basis. Besides writing there are plenty of other jobs related to the internet that do not require phone sales or buying in fees.
If you don’t want to go into business for yourself, start looking for the internet companies that provide the services you are qualified to provide. Writing services, tech support, customer support, graphic design, etc. There are plenty of opportunities but it all hinges on what you want and can do.

    Hi there,
I work for a company called GDI and I am looking for new team members. I will train you step by step. It does involve getting people to sign up so maybe it’s not something you would be interested in but I would reccomend you have a look. If you are looking for a work from home job sending emails etc then they just simply don’t work. Why would companies pay you to mail or type emails when they can do it thereselfs. If you want to really work from home you need to start your own business from scratch and I can help you.
Email me at pstrachan-07@hotmail.co.uk if you are interested. Good luck with your work from home search.

I run 2 program online and have chosen these 2 because of the simplicity of each. In one all you do is enter 6 license plate numbers into a national database every 30 days and teach 3 people to do the same. In the other all I do is hand out free prescription discount cards to people who need them and make money evert time they save money. Both have a very low start up cost and are really fun. If you would like to speak with me about either or both you can give me a call @ 575-208-0342. If I am not in the office please leave a message.
