I want to sell from a catalog to friends and family.. I am selling Avon, but not doing so well. I am only making about $20 every two weeks and I want to start working for another direct sales company that uses catalogs and with a cheap or no start up fee
I am unemployed, so I can not pay any kind of start up fee.
I also DO NOT want to host any parties.

Have you looked into Scentsy? I’m having a lot of fun with it and building up my income every month.

Maybe evaluate to see why Avon isn’t work well for you. Is it that your friends and family aren’t interested in Avon or is there something else you can do to build your sales?

I hope you find something that works well for you. Good luck!

Lisa

I have a thriving business as a Consultant for Immunotec.com, a Natural Wellness Direct Sales company in my local area, but want to expand it online. What are some ways that I can do this?

Hello, it’s good to meet you. I am an independent consultant for Immunotec as well, perhaps we already know one another. I teach all marketers the skills they need to expand their presence online, regardless of the company they work with. I am partnered with the leaders in the internet marketing industry.

Yahoo ! is a great place to start, as it ranks well in the search engines, but there is much more to learn.

There are many ways of expanding your business online, and much depends on your business goals. Please start by using your name and face in all places you are online- people must be able to get to know, like, and trust you. Beyond that, there are three basic principles for effective internet marketing, and I will share them with you here:

1: You need to learn how to build a list of people to market to - this is best done by learning one traffic generation method (there are several internet methods for lead generation out there- like social networking, blogging, article marketing, Pay- per- click on Google, Facebook, etc.)- and get good at that one method to start with.

2: You need to develop a relationship with the people on that list. This can be done through regular auto-responder messages that you send to them, or an e-zine, or some other regular method of communication with the people on your list. They need to get to know, like, and trust you.

3: You need to provide solutions to the people on your list. This is done by learning effective copy writing skills. In your messages that you use to build your relationship with the people on your list, you offer them solutions in the form of either the Immunotec products or opportunity.

I am currently using an automated platform called CarbonCopyPRO that provides all of the training and resources for effectively marketing on the internet, and all of this and more is covered with this system. It is designed to teach anyone the skills necessary for successfully selling any product or service on the internet. But it’s only for serious entrepreneurs.

Hope that helps! You can contact me on the site below if you want to learn more.

I am in direct sales and I go door to door each day to make sales cold calls. I sell a nutritional beverage product that has antioxidant and is good for people (I do drink it myself). Many of my customers are elder folks but I know had I started drinking the product younger I will be in a better shape now. Can anyone help me with either introductions or rebuttals to get more people to try my product?

first pinpoint their specific objection……….basically the "if you will give me just a few minutes of your time, i will explain our program or product (which ever), if you like what i have to say great, if not, we will part as friends, Fair enough? usually gets ya in there. they r gonna say yeah i guess that sounds fair. good luck.

I am finding, they need a constant stream of new sale designers to go out and show customers the product so that a trade sales guy can close them over the phone with a money off discounted deal (my commission) really each branch just needs one trade sales guy, all the other sales guys are just filtering the clients down to serious interested buyers for him/her.

Any advice appreciated.

Once in our life, we got scammed in many ways. Report your scammed story to http://www.igotscammed.org. Share you story and let others beware so that they don’t get scam like you.

I am getting started in a home jewelry sales bus. and I am looking to set up booths in my area. I have been looking for a way to find festivals/craft shows/vendor events and especially church or hospital shows - is there a way to locate these shows online that anyone knows about? I found some sites that require paying to locate listings, don’t want to do that.
Also, does anyone know the licensing needed to do direct sales as a business, as an independent contractor?

I find a lot on craigslist. Look under faires, vendor events, go to city pages on the web and look at their calendar of events…go to a faire and make friends with other vendors who will share with you other events that they will be at.

As far as the other question, you need to contact your county. I wish you well with your new business. I love direct sales and my business is doing so well and I am right now working towards a FREE trip to Puerto Rico~~~
