I have the opportunity to go to school, for 2 years preferably oR LESS.(web based mostly). My goal is to work from home, 20-40 hours a week, making 30,000 -45K a year at some point. What industry can I go into that has a large group of people that are working from home, relatively easy to find work, and doesnt require travel or talking to people on the phone alot. (i have kids in the background) I am kinda looking for something more than medical transcription or coding/billing. any other ideas? NO SALES.
Ebay, allot of unemployment officers are working from home look into your state.

I am interested in making additional money through part-time work. I have been applying on line with various employers in the area. A possibility is one of the many “work at home” jobs that are offered. In particular, using my computer. I keep seeing opportunities to make money taking surveys. What are your thoughts on this particular offer and the many others that are presented through the “work at home” positions?
I work online part-time to create a few extra dollar to do things with my children, I do online surveys if your interested send me a email at: russ36@bellsouth.net and i’ll send you the link. The good thing about this is it’s FREE

article read woman distressed at dr. office was rescued by an offer to work from home and end her financial problems was given a card to apply for work .

I have heard that any place that asks for money up front is a scam. I am not sure about other internet businesses but I am a health and eco consultant for a well established company. There is no selling, party hosting or risk involved, just helping people live healthy lives. The pay plan is great and anyone can do it. Look at my web site for more info and let me know what you think.

I already have direct tv at my house but only for one TV and I would like to have another box so i my wife can watch it in another room. I found some on ebay with a access card and was thinking about buying it but will direct tv charge me extra monthly? Do I need to tell them I bought new receivers so they could activate it?

you can, but you need to be aware of a few things.

first of all, used satellite receivers often have "balances" attached to them, meaning that the former user didn’t pay everything that they owed. if the receiver is to be used again, even though it’s on another person’s account, the balance still needs to be paid. i would contact the seller on ebay and make sure that there is no balance. you can also get the receiver ID# and card ID# from the seller and contact DirecTV to find out about the balance yourself. if they say that there’s no balance, then you’re good to go.

second, unfortunately directv WILL charge you an extra $5 a month for having a second receiver on your account. most people mistakenly believe that this is a "monthly rental fee" for the box. that is, however, incorrect. the fee applies to any additional receiver after the first, no matter whether you purchased the receiver outright (ie. ebay), or leased it from DirecTV (basically a loaner).

i would honestly suggest that you just switch to Dish Network, if possible. since you would be considered a new customer, you get all of the cool stuff for free. free 2-room DVR, free installation, free cinemax for a year, and three months free. you would have to sign a 2 year contract, but that’s pretty normal. anywho, i only mention this to you so that you can make an educated decision.

Looking for work from home without having to pay anything out of pocket. Anybody, I am very good at administrative work as well as others.

None other than babysitting.

I haven’t had any luck with getting a job for about a year now i am looking for full time of work I can do at home so i can continue watching the kids does anyone know of a work at home job with no start up cost that isn’t a scam ?

Not all of them are scams.
There was a lady on here that said she made as much as 10 cents an hour.
The only problem - she worked for months, and she was wondering when her $25 check was going to come in.
Have you tried looking in your newspaper’s classified ads under employment.
To me the best place - employment/unemployment office.
They post the jobs as soon as they arive - you can almost grab a job before anyone else does.
Go to the store and apply immediately.

Doing a project on innovations. I basically need links, opinions and true facts. I would also appreciate it if you mention how electric kettles effect the environment. All answers greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)
we couldnt find any sites on it.
its use is revolutionary. boils water for cooking, eating, drinking, making other things/food possible. it uses little electric and is env friendly. it last a long time and doesnt spoil easily. its a must-have item in many houses. it doesnt cause cancer as a microwave may.
all the best

Has anyone tried those "work at home" ads on the internet? My resources are limited, as i have no car to get to and from work just yet, have to borrow one just to get to town to go to interviews if i’m lucky. Just wondering if they were for real or if anyone can give me any ideas for at home work on the internet? I don’t have a degree of any kind, well, maybe a degree in life - lol -but that isn’t getting me anywhere.

Thanks for reading and taking the time.

no ,This is not very credible

Ok so my aunt an uncle have been doing this work at home job in which they go to this place that looks like a fActory and they pick up boxes in which they need to assemble pieces and then once they fill up the boxes they take back to the place they got them from and they give them about 40 bucks per box. I enjoy doing this type of work but I don’t know the name of this type of at home work so I can’t look for it in my area.

It’s usually just called something like ‘assemble products at home’ or ‘home assembly’. 99% of those jobs are fake though. You should get the name of the company that your aunt and uncle work for. I really have my doubts that they are telling you the truth - but I don’t want to ‘diss’ them or you, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. Good luck.

i know companies monitor internet traffic while i am using my work laptop at work. but, we all take our work laptops home. in such a case, when i am usin gmy work laptop at home with my personal ISP and then i got ot work the nexy day. do the IT department save the google searches i made at home on my ISP that is available in Intenet explorer history and monitor that too?

In short- No. They use IP addresses to determine what you’re up to. HOWEVER, they may have a background key logger, which will upload screenshots and keystrokes to an FTP server for later viewing, so they would be capable of seeing your passwords, addresses, credit card numbers, pictures- etc.

I’ve been in IT a few times, and to be frank, if I were asked at the job if the laptops had key loggers- I’d be upfront with them since it wasn’t my job to know what they were doing, nor did I care… observe and report.
